After 5 years of trading in certified pre-owned Apple devices, we have rebranded to The Phone Guy. Same team, same standards, same people checking every device - with a range that now reaches well beyond Apple.
The reason is straightforward. Our customers kept asking us for more than iPhones. So alongside our Apple range, we are expanding into Samsung, tablets and laptops, all certified pre-owned, all tested and graded to the same standard, and all backed by the same warranty.
What has not changed is how we work. Buying pre-owned should not feel like a gamble, and every device we sell is fully tested, honestly graded and covered by a warranty, so you know exactly what you are buying before you buy it.
Every device earns its grade before it earns a listing
Every device that comes through our doors goes through the same inspection. We test the screen, body, battery, cameras, speakers, microphone, buttons, charging port and all wireless functions. We confirm the device is clear of any iCloud or network locks, and we verify the IMEI before it is listed. Anything that does not pass is not sold.
What is left is then graded honestly - Grade A, B or C - on cosmetic condition alone. Every grade is fully functional and every grade carries the same warranty, which means the grade you choose is about how the device looks and what you want to spend, not about how well it works. If you would like photographs of the actual unit before we dispatch, ask us and we will send them through.
